Elspeth - Oh this is such a wonderful glimpse of the studio life of the day! It's so frothy, so, well, Hollywood! How way cool! And I also like the interesting information, too. I know technology has changed dramatically, but it's interesting to learn about the techniques of the day.
I don't know what I liked best about this: a shot of scripts? A shot of a script we can read as it's being typed? Or the goofy scientifically inaccurate description of the technology?
It may be the last, because as soon as they showed the mike and talked about the sound running through the cables, all I could think about was the mike scene in Singin' in the Rain.
